'Pain' is the debut short film written and directed by Marcus Kartal. A highly personal piece of narrative work which was written in sobriety. Marcus based Pain off the highly visual dreams and nightmares he experienced during his recovery. Pain has seen great success on the short film circuit as a BAFTA qualifying film in many top festivals such as Bolton film festival and won best horror at the Berlin independent film festival.
